Paul Gafni

Paul Gafni is a freelance educator specializing in inquiry-based mathematics instruction, with experience teaching a wide range of ages, abilities, and formats. By emphasizing pursuit of curiosity, joy, play, and beauty, Paul aims to present mathematics as an interdisciplinary endeavor that speaks to the heart of what it is to be human. Paul's approach to teaching has been shaped largely through long-term collaboration with Math for Love, and he has presented ideas about inquiry based curriculum and instructional routines at conferences for the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the National Association of Gifted Children, and the Washington Association of Educators of the Talented and Gifted. Aside from his work in mathematics and education, Paul is a visual artist, a musician, a meditator, and a gardener. Looking to the future, Paul is excited to continue finding, exploring, and sharing passion while encouraging everyone around to do the same. Connect with Paul at www.PaulGafni.com
