Amy Satin Spinelli

Amy has been working in the ed tech sector since 1998. Prior to co-founding Inquiry Partners, Amy was the director of business development at Taskstream, a leading assessment, accreditation and e-portfolio software provider in higher education.
Previously, Amy was a producer at Thomson Reuters in Hong Kong and New York, developing interactive information experiences for legal and financial professionals. She was the Vice President, business development of Learn Technologies, a software company that developed innovative multimedia platforms for teaching, learning and research.
As producer and product manager at ACTV, Amy worked with state and city education officials across the U.S. to develop interactive multimedia experiences for teacher professional development and student learning mapped to educational standards.
Amy has worked as an entrepreneur and consultant, advising in areas such as college admissions, strategic planning and leadership development. She began her career as a corporate lawyer at Squadron, Ellenoff, Plesent & Sheinfeld (now Hogan, Lovells) in New York City, before realizing her true calling was to use technology to engage learners.
Amy holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA from Colgate University (Philosophy and Asian Studies/Japanese).
